Phil Moran, our 4th guest producer, is a Vienna-based award-winning filmmaker from Liverpool, UK—whose company FFAB:EU specialises in film and television productions for international distribution.

​

As a composer, it’s rare to have such opportunity to know the finance & promotion strategies from a producer’s perspective. So, Phil’s lectures really built up the whole picture of film production—Much appreciated for all the advice from script-writing to screen-composing, thank you, Phil!

Shooting an independent film is never an easy job.

​

​

It takes time to raise enough funding, also, let technology catches up with the pioneered concepts. Last summer, we 4 composers collaborated with Linz-based the Krmpf Krmpf Studio to produce the very innovative film ‘merk|würdig’, which literally took 7 years from the 1st prototype to the cinema premiere early this year.
